My Artisanal Process

After completing the wirework, I apply a special patina using a liver of sulfur solution that transforms the bright copper into a rich, dark gunmetal finish. I carefully dip each finished piece in a warmed bath, then neutralize the chemical reaction with baking soda. The ring then spends about 20 minutes tumbling with steel shot to polish the metal and remove excess tarnish, highlighting the intricate wirework while maintaining that distinguished antiqued appearance.
