Depending on the softness of gemstone, it’s either polished solely by hand and dremel, or \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003etumbles with steel shot to\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e polish the metal and remove excess tarnish, creating depth and highlights.  I usually use a combination of both to get the best shine.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis darkened finish gives the pendant an antique, vintage look.
