Neon Green Dragon Eye - Magnificent Ring - Size 9.75

I've wire wrapped this dragon eye ring with copper wire and given the band a decorative basket weave. Inspired by Lord of the Rings, Eye of Sauron and dragon eyes lurking in the caves of your D&D campaign.

My Artisanal Process

This handmade ring features a glass cabochon wire wrapped in 100% copper. Each bend and weave is done by hand, no shortcuts. My style uses weaving, hammering and manual manipulation to achieve the final design.

After completing the wirework, I apply a patina using a liver of sulfur solution that transforms the bright copper into a rich, dark gunmetal finish. I carefully dip it in a warmed sulphuric bath, then neutralize the chemical reaction with baking soda. I polish the metal by hand with steel wool to remove excess tarnish, creating depth and highlights.

 Caring for Your Jewelry

With wear, your jewelry will develop its own unique character; the dark patina will gradually lighten in high contact areas, revealing hints of the copper's natural warmth beneath. To preserve your ring's appearance:

• Store in a jewelry box or tightly closed container when not wearing

• Remove before washing hands, showering, swimming, or sleeping

• Keep dry to prevent unwanted green patina that can develop when copper meets moisture

• Handle with care to maintain the precise wirework and stone setting
