Handmade Wire Wrapped Ring in Copper - Faceted Labradorite

My Artisanal Process

This handmade copper wire wrapped ring features a beautiful faceted blue Labradorite that I've carefully set using techniques I've been perfecting for years. Each bend and weave is done by hand – no shortcuts.

After completing the wirework, I apply a patina using a liver of sulfur solution that transforms the bright copper into a rich, dark gunmetal finish. I carefully dip it in a warmed sulphuric bath, then neutralize the chemical reaction with baking soda. The ring then spends about 20 minutes tumbling with steel shot to polish the metal and remove excess tarnish, creating depth and highlights.
